2 C Flour
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1/8 Tsp Nutmeg
1/2 C  Butter, softened
1 C Honey
2 Eggs
1/4 C Yogurt or Buttermilk
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 C Chopped Pears
 

Preheat oven to 350. Blend dry ingredients and set aside. Cream honey and butter together. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla and mix well. Alternate adding dry ingredients and yogurt or buttermilk, mixing well after each addition. Fold in pears.

Pour mixture in loaf pan or cupcake tins. Bake about 45 minutes for a loaf but less  for muffins. The bread is done when it is light brown on top and firm to the touch.
